Email and phone links require special prefixes. Before an email address you put mailto: and before a phone number you put tel: to indicate what kind of link it is. Here’s an example of both in Markdown.
[Email me](mailto:email@address.com) or
[email@address.com](mailto:email@address.com)
[Call me](tel:101-222-1234) or
[888-888-8888](tel:1-888-888-8888)
If you’re using a block with a button, you don’t need the brackets [ ] around your link text or parenthases ( ) around your link.
